Adding Multiple Projects to One Matter
Step-by-Step Instruction Article: Adding Multiple Projects to One Matter
Step 1: Adding Multiple Projects to a Matter
- Start by having a matter in which you want to add multiple projects. For example, consider an M&A sale.
- In the first step, you have already added a project called "Strategic Transaction Planning Guideline."
Step 2: Adding an Additional Project
- To add another project under the same matter, locate the "Add Project" button in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on the button to proceed.
Step 3: Accessing the Guideline Index
- After clicking the "Add Project" button, you will see the guideline index, which displays all available projects.
- By default, it shows the entire guideline index, but you can choose to filter it to only display bookmarked projects.
Step 4: Selecting Projects to Add
- Scroll through the guideline index and locate the desired project(s) you want to add to the matter.
- In this example, we want to add the "M&A Sale of Shares" project and also include an NDA.
Step 5: Scoping and Pricing
- Once you have selected the additional projects, you can scope and price each one individually.
- Go through the process of scoping and pricing for each project you have added.
- You can repeat this step for as many projects as needed.
Step 6: Managing Multiple Projects
- In an example like an M&A transaction, there might be multiple stages or typical steps involved.
- By adding projects one by one, you can systematically handle each stage or step of the transaction.
- Add as many projects as necessary to cover the different stages or steps of the matter.
Congratulations! You have successfully learned how to add multiple projects to a single matter.
