Step 1: Modifiers Overview
- Take a deep dive into the value-based modifiers feature.
- On the left-hand side, locate the modifiers panel.
Step 2: Back-End Functionality
- As a pricing officer or administrator, access the back-end settings.
- Handle main functionality for your firm and adjust firm-wide settings.
Step 3: Template Customization
- Find a variety of templates provided by AltFee.
- Explore and tap into the templates to fit your firm's requirements.
Step 4: Customize Templates
- Select a template, such as team capacity, as an example.
- Customize the name, description, and options to match your needs.
Step 5: Add Additional Options
- Enhance the template by adding more options.
- Adjust the percentage values as necessary.
- Utilize all the available functionality to customize the template.
Step 6: Modifier States
- Note the right-hand side of each modifier.
- Modifiers can have various states: "not in use," "available for all matters," or "default."
Step 7: Customize Modifier States
- Set a modifier as "not in use" if you don't want it to be accessible.
- Make it "available for all matters" to use it on demand.
- Set it as "default" to ensure it appears automatically for every project.
Step 8: Create New Modifiers
- Use the "New Modifier" button in the top right corner.
- Create a modifier from scratch, providing a name and building it according to your preferences.
