Account Settings
How do I change my password?
Navigate towards the bottom left side of the feature menu, and click on your user name, which will take you to the "User Settings" page, where you can change your account password.
I want to add more users. How do I do that?
Only Account Admin for your account are able to add additional users. Navigate towards the bottom left side of the feature menu, and click on “Account Settings”, where you can add new users as well as update their roles and permissions.
How many users can I add to my account?
You can add an unlimited amount of users to your firm's AltFee subscription! Additional costs may apply depending on your pricing tier.
What is the difference between an account admin, pricing officer and regular user?
The account admin has all of the permissions of regular users and pricing officers, and also controls firm-wide account settings like adding new users to your firm's AltFee account.
A pricing officer has all of the permissions of regular users, and also controls management of your firm’s guidelines.
A regular user has the ability to use all core functionality of your firm’s AltFee account, but is not able to make firm-wide changes.

How do I change what app notifications I receive?
Navigate towards the bottom left-hand side feature menu, and click on your name. You will be directed to our "User Settings" page, where you can select or de-select notification actions to customize your AltFee account to your preferences.
How do I bookmark guidelines?
Do you want to bookmark your most used guidelines for easy access? Navigate to the guidelines page, find the guideline you wish to bookmark, and click the star on the left side of the guidelines' title. Once you have bookmarked your desired guidelines, you can easily access them by clicking the toggle "Show my bookmarks only" on the right-hand side of your Guidelines page.
How do I delete a client from my AltFee account?
To delete a client from your AltFee account, proceed to the “clients'” page, find the client you wish to remove from your account and open this clients' page. You will find the “actions” drop-down menu on the top right-hand side of the page. Click on this drop-down menu and click delete.
What happens if two team members are working on the same file at the same time?
When two team members are working on a file asynchronously the changes that each member makes will be saved. These changes will be reflected on the file in real time.
If I delete a client or matter in AltFee, will that client or matter be deleted in Clio?
No, any content deleted from your AltFee account will not be deleted from your Clio account.
How often does Clio sync with AltFee?
When data changes in Clio, these changes are propagated to AltFee in near real time.
How does the “Update Request” feature work?
AltFee's "Update Request" feature in the menu bar on the right-hand side allows team members to submit pricing requests to your firm's pricing officer. Once an update request is submitted, your pricing officer will be notified via email, in-app, or both.
